I facilitate several engaging workshops for both graduate students and faculty in higher education.
These 90-minute workshops may be held on Zoom or in person.
Starting from the initial consultation, I work closely with you to tailor the workshop content to your target group (e.g., graduate students in Asian studies or 1st year BIPOC faculty).
I curate and facilitate focused discussions to help provide clarity on the topics at hand as well as offer strategies that help illuminate the next steps for each participant.
I am also an experienced keynote speaker.
While most of my previous speaking engagements were during my time as a professor, I have been offering 2 signature keynotes since the launch of Rise with Clarity.

We are so glad that we invited Dr. Katherine Lee to tell her story and give a highly personalized workshop to graduate students dedicated to re-imagining how their skills could be applied to a variety of values-based professions, including non-academic jobs. Her keynote lecture “Lessons in Music, Life, and Leaving Academia,” was searing, thought-provoking, and personal, and yet told in a way that was relevant to everyone in the room.
Her graduate workshop was affirming and well-structured, and I was very impressed with the way she held space for everyone in the workshop, no matter what stage they were in. She was also great at listening to students and answering their questions. And she even followed up by sharing a wealth of resources that she mentioned in the workshop.
As Director of a faculty mentoring program at my university, I collaborated with Katherine for over six months to develop workshops and supporting materials for mentees (i.e., new early-career faculty) and their mentors.
To tailor the content to our university, Katherine went above and beyond to learn about our faculty's experiences. She conducted individual interviews with assistant professors, associate professors, and full professors across different fields at my university and presented the findings. We were then able to develop workshops and supporting materials that touched upon the issues that were brought up during the interviews.
From my many meetings with Katherine, it was clear that she was deeply committed to creating workshops and materials that our faculty would find helpful, and I was impressed with how many hours she dedicated to meeting with me and fine tuning the slides and materials. Throughout the process, she was always patient, understanding, and accommodating.
